What do you design?

I design modular processes for manufacturing and service organisations with emphasis placed on the integration and use of digital technologies to support these processes.

What do you create?

I create tools, methods and theories to support (1) our understanding of modular resource integration and modular process design and (2) an organisations implementation of these processes.

What outputs do you have?

My outputs can be found on my google scholar and research gate accounts. See below.

What inspires your work?

Tim Brown from IDEO. His work is fascinating and many of his ideals and beliefs align with my own. He emphasises moving away from thinking small where focus is on product functions to thinking big by taking a whole system view. I strongly recommend his book change by design to gain further insight into his thought process and design thinking.

Isambard Brunel is also a huge design inspiration and is a perfect example of someone who ‘thought big’.
